“Take hold of your own life. See that the whole existence is celebrating. These trees are not serious, these birds are not serious. The rivers and the oceans are wild, and everywhere there is fun, everywhere there is joy and delight. Watch existence, listen to the existence and become part of it.”
I’m a believer in being able to control our own lives. I think in order to enjoy living is to not take anything too seriously. How we handle hardships and react in certain situations are significant determinants to how much we can love existence. We can choose to be angry, sad, or happy as a whole.
(backstory: I love this hippie dude, Osho …he’s actually an Indian spiritual teacher, and I got this quote from his book I was reading. He’s been a controversial spiritual leader because of attitude toward sexuality, institutionalized religion, and money.)
