“Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.” – Mark Twain
In my 16 years of living (I know its a very underwhelming amount of time) it wasn’t until recently did I learn one of the most powerful concepts, forgiveness. The death of a loved one last spring devastated me, but unknowingly gave me more peace than I thought I had lost. This photo is from the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon where my family and I went on a trip. This was a month after the loss of one of my family members.
